Who are you?

Do you know who you are?  Do you know what your goals truly are and what you believe in?  Do you have a clear understanding of your potential in the world and how to act effectively within it?

Do you have limits? What are your limits[1]?  Moral limits to what you will do for your own benefit at the expense of others?  Limits as to what you will tolerate being done to you or to others?

Can we speak of integrity where there are no limits, where everything is for sale at a price?  Have the limits you thought you had been put to the test?  Did you yield to fear or self-interest?  Did you hold your line but wonder afterwards whether it was worth it?

Progress and success cannot be discerned unless you know who you are.  Or they will be measured strictly in default material and hedonistic terms.

Defining yourself fully is a lifetime expedition.  It helps to be able to define yourself by reference to others or to external codes.  Disagreeing with something defines you even more clearly than mere agreement.

Truth in Uncertainty is a way[2] forward.  Please use it[3] to help define yourself, and from there to develop and implement your life plan, checking whether each step you take[4] is a step closer or further away from your goals and values.
